چکیده
The COVID-19 pandemic is creating uncertainty that potentially causes a decline in global trade. It hampers the catching-up processes of developing countries because they are already connected through value chains (GVCs). This study investigates speed convergence GVC participation. Furthermore, we propose forward and backward participation approach to trace domestic foreign value-added contributions overcome overvaluation gross exports. We compare linkages determine countries’ speeds. scrutinize stochastic, σ, β-convergence using system generalized method moments; additionally, use this address potential endogeneity issues. Using dynamic panel approach, investigate GVCs possible direct investment (FDI) factors may influence convergence. In addition, analyze early effect on rate recent Asian Development Bank multi-regional input-output database covers period 2010–2019. results illustrate both participation; however, varies among group countries. Convergence Rates in Forward-Backward Splitting
Forward-backward splitting methods provide a range of approaches to solving large-scale optimization problems and variational inequalities in which structure conducive to decomposition can be utilized. Apart from special cases where the forward step is absent and a version of the proximal point algorithm comes out, efforts at evaluating the convergence potential of such methods have so far reli...

In this paper, we propose a stochastic forward–backward–forward splitting algorithm and prove its almost sure weak convergence in real separable Hilbert spaces. Applications to composite monotone inclusion andminimization problems are demonstrated.
متن کاملNoise can speed convergence in Markov chains.
A new theorem shows that noise can speed convergence to equilibrium in discrete finite-state Markov chains. The noise applies to the state density and helps the Markov chain explore improbable regions of the state space. The theorem ensures that a stochastic-resonance noise benefit exists for states that obey a vector-norm inequality. Such noise leads to faster convergence because the noise red...
متن کاملConvergence of the forward-backward sweep method in optimal control
The Forward-Backward Sweep Method is a numerical technique for solving optimal control problems. The technique is reviewed and a convergence theorem is proved for a basic type of optimal control problem. Examples illustrate the performance of the method.
